We build affordable housing.
We build affordable housing for working families earning less than 60 percent of the area median income. Affordable homeownership helps create the conditions that free families from stress and fear, helping build stability and confidence. Decent, affordable shelter provides families with a place to gather and grow, allowing them to save money, build capital, and provide a stable home for their family for years to come.
We mentor families.
Owning a home can be difficult, and we do everything we can to help our partner families succeed. From budgeting to small home repairs, and landscaping to retirement planning, we work side by side with the families in our program to prepare them for homeownership. We provide opportunities to build bonds with their community and make connections with their neighbors. Each family completes at least 200 hours of sweat equity where they partner to build homes, make repairs, and learn the specifics of owning a home.
